The owner of a destroyed passenger bus cries after his vehicle was destroyed and several people died onboard during a US army attack in the town of Samaraa, 125 kms north of Baghdad, 01 December 2003. The US military upped its death toll from intense clashes with insurgents in the Iraqi town of Samarra to 54 amid reports by Iraqi doctors that eight civilians were killed by US fire in the exchanges.
