The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Tuesday said it had found US sprinters Tim Montgomery and Chryste Gaines guilty of doping charges and banned them for two years.CAS said in a statement that the two runners would be ineligible for two years from June 6, 2005. Montgomery effectively had his 100 metres world record set in 2002 taken away from him as all his results since March 31 2001 were annulled while veteran sprinter Gaines saw her results after November 30 2003 cancelled in the final ruling.
