South Korea-s stem cell scientist Hwang Woo-Suk is surrounded by reporters as he returns to his office after attending a professors- meeting at the Seoul National University in Seoul, 16 December 2005 .South Korea was in shock 16 December as stem cell pioneer Hwang Woo-Suk, a national hero and symbol of the nation-s technical prowess, was accused by colleagues of faking landmark research.
