KENYA-TANZANIA-KILIMANJARO-ACCIDENT
A view taken 18 April 2004 of the Mount Kilimanjaro at sunset, from the Amboseli National Park in Kenya. At least three people were killed and five others seriously injured 04 January 2006 in an accident as they attempted to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, an official said. Details of the incident were sketchy but the dead and wounded include foreign tourists who were climbing Africa-s highest peak and several others from their group were believed to be trapped on the mountain, according to the official and an other source.
