BRAZIL-UN-HAITI-CATELLAR-COFFIN
Soldiers take off General Urano Teixeira da Matta Bacellar-s coffin from an airplane of the Brazilian Air Force, at a militar base in Brasilia 10 January 2005. Bacellar, 58, who led the UN peacekeeping force in Haiti was found dead in his hotel room in Port-au-Prince on Saturday from a gunshot wound to the head. Investigators believe he killed himself, but their investigation is still ongoing. Bacellar led the military contingent of the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti, a force of some 7,500 sent to maintain order after the February 2004 toppling of president Jean Bertrand Aristide-s government.
