UKRAINE-BELARUS-PROTEST ACTION
Youths hold candles and portaits of one of the victims of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko-s regime during a protest action in Kiev 16 January, 2006. Activists of a few Ukraine-s youth organisations demonstrated to support the Belarus opposition. Meanwhile, around 100 protestors Monday held a demonstration in the centre of the Polish capital, demanding that the European Union sends observers to monitor Belarus- March 19 presidential election.
