Employes of home applicance manufacturer SEB leave work, 24 January 2006 at the factory of Fresnay-sur-Sarthe, western France. French manufacturer SEB, which owns international brands Tefal, Moulinex and Rowenta, plans to close three production sites in France and cut nearly 900 jobs, trade union sources told AFP today. Referring to factories in northwest and east France, the secretary of the company-s works council, Hubert Jegout, told a press conference: "The Fresnay, Syndicat and Dampierre sites are no longer on the group-s map of France."
