RUSSIA-PUTIN
Russian President Vladimir Puin listens to Minister of Finance Alexey Kudrin during their visit at the Baltic port of Ust-Luga, some 110 kms from St. Petersburg, 24 January 2006. Ust-Luga is one of the most promising ports on the Baltic Sea. The purpose of the project in the Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland is to speed up the handling of exit cargo and reduce transportation costs for Russian manufacturers.
