Andre Vallini, president of the parliamentary inquiry commission on the Outreau paedophile network trial, answers journalists questions, 08 February 2006 in Paris, upon his arrival at the French national assembly prior to the hearing by a parliamentary panel of Fabrice Burgaud, the magistrate at the centre of the case. The parliamentary panel is to explain how innocent people came to be wrongfully imprisoned on child sex charges. Burgaud is questioned about his investigation into the so-called Outreau affair by a cross-party committee of 30 deputies looking into ways of reforming the French justice system so that similar miscarriages of justice do not recur.
