FRANCE-PAEDOPHILIA-JUSTICE-PROBE
Alain Marecaux (C), one of the people originally detained in the investigation into an alleged sex abuse ring and acquitted after one of the acquitted in the so-called Outreau French paedophile fiasco, leaves, late 08 February 2006 in Paris, the French national assembly prior at the end of the hearing by a parliamentary panel of Fabrice Burgaud, the magistrate at the centre of the case. The parliamentary panel is to explain how innocent people came to be wrongfully imprisoned on child sex charges. Burgaud is questioned about his investigation into the so-called Outreau affair by a cross-party committee of 30 deputies looking into ways of reforming the French justice system so that similar miscarriages of justice do not recur.
