OLY-2006-SKI-TRAINING 1-KERNEN
Bruno Kernen fromSwitzerland speeds over the course 09 February, 2006 during the Men-s Downhill first training run in Sestriere Borgata, Italy; Kernen finished with a time of 1:52:52. Switzerland is the team with the next highest medal count after Austria, with 26 medals, six of them gold. Three training runs are scheduled at Sestriere Borgota before the official race. The Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games Alpine Skiing competitions are held between 12-25 February and yield five medal events for both men and ladies.AFP PHOTO OLIVIER MORIN
