GERMANY-ICE-SCULPTURE
A contributor to ICE-World, the first German Ice and Snow sculptures festival, gives the final touch to anice-sculpture featuring archangel Gabriel, 10 December 2003 in the northern town of Luebeck. A team ofinternational sculptors prepares on a 1350-square-meter-big area and under constant temperatures of minus 10degrees icy scenes of the bible, using 200,000 kilogrammes of snow and 350.000 of ice.
