FILES-LEBANON-HARIRI-ANNIVERSARY
(FILES) A file picture dated 07 September 2000 shows late former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri reading a copy of Al-Mustakbal, a newspaper he owns, at his home in Beirut. People from all over Lebanon have been called on 12 February 2006 to commemorate the first anniversary of the assassination of Hariri on February 14 at Martyrs Square, in remembrance of the poor boy turned billionaire who is considered one of the architects of the Taif accord which ended Lebanon-s 1975-1990 civil war, and who governed the country for the better part of a decade until he resigned just a few months before his death.
