FILES-US-CHENEY-ACCIDENT
(FILES) Photo dated 04 January 2006 of US Vice President Dick Cheney during a speech before the Heritage Foundation in Washington. Cheney accidentally shot a man 11 February 2006 while hunting in south Texas, US media reported 12 February 2006, quoting a Cheney spokeswoman. The man, identified as Harry Whittington, 78, was reported to be in good condition in a Corpus Christi hospital after being hit with buckshot while hunting quail with the vice president.
