OLY-2006-SKI-COMBINED-DOWNHILL-CRO-FLEISS
The first racer of the day, Nika Fleiss from Croatia, suffers a fall during the Women-s Combined Downhill race in San Sicario, Italy, 17 February, 2006. The race was later cancelled due to bad wind conditions after the start had already been delayed for 75 minutes. The downhill race of the Combined event is to be rescheduled for another day. The Turin 2006 Winter Olympics Alpine Skiing competitions are held between 12-25 February and yield five medal events for both men and ladies. AFP PHOTO JAVIER SORIANO
