NETHERLANDS-FLU-BIRD-HEALTH-VACCINE-INTERVET

Part of the Dutch multinational Akzo Nobel, Intervet is dedicated to the research, development, manufacture and sale of animal health products. With global revenues of EUR 1,024 million in 2004 Intervet is the world-s third largest animal health company, and is the leading European business operating in the sector. Intervet in Boxmeer in the Netherlands delivers the Nobilis Avian Influenza vaccine to foreign countries. The vaccine is developed to help against the H5N1 virus.
