Leader of pro independence Basque nationalist banned party Batasuna Arnaldo Otegi (2d R) marches next to representatives of Basque Nationalist Party (PNV) Joseba Egibar (R), Ezker Batua (EB) Oscar Matute (2d L) and Eusko Alkartasuna (EA) Unai Ziarreta (L) as tens of thousands of people protested against the "18/98+" trial, 18 February 2006 in the northern Spanish Basque city of Bilbao. A Spanish court on Monday began holding Spain-s biggest-ever trial related to armed Basque separatist group ETA, with 56 people facing charges of helping the movement via a network of support organisations.
