ROMANIA-ROMPETROL-DINU PATRICIU
The President of Rompetrol Dinu Patriciu addresses the media at the entrance of the court house in Bucharest, 24 February 2006.The
court decided today that Patriciu will not be put under arrest as Romanian prosecutors asked, accusing the lack of procedure. Prosecutors accused the chief executive of Rompetrol, the country-s second biggest oil group, of fraud, tax evasion and money-laundering, on 30 March 2005.
