Politicians, religious and civilian authorities are seen at the head of the demonstration in tribute to kidnapped, tortured and murdered French Ilan Halimi and against racism and antisemitism 26 February 2006 in Paris. Halimi, a 23-year-old telephone salesman, went missing in late January 2006 after being lured into a trap by a woman and was held prisoner for three weeks by a gang that sent ransom demands to his family.
