Signs indicate the way to the now blocked site where a cat infected with with bird flu was found dead, 01 March 2006 in Gingst on the Baltic island of Ruegen, northeastern Germany. The cat almost certainly had the strain which can kill humans, the country-s leading disease control centre said as Berlin mulled ways to protect poultry, pets and people.
