SERBIA-MONTENEGRO-KOSOVO-KOSUMI-RESIGNATION
Kosovo Prime Minister Bajram Kosumi announces his resignation to the press, 01 March 2006. Kosumi resigned little more than a week after historic talks opened on the future status of the Serbian territory. Following reports he was under pressure to step down from within his own party. Kosumi told reporters in front of his office in the provincial capital Pristina that he is resigning in the interests of general progress. AFP PHOTO / ERMAL META
