Political leaders of Lebanon (L-clockwise) Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, unidentified representative of the Armenian parties, MP Michel Murr, MP Butrus Harb, MP Ghassan Tueini, MP Mohammed Safadi, MP Elias Skaf, MP Walid Jumblatt, former president Amin Gemayel, parliament majority leader Saad Hariri, MP Michel Aoun, and PM Fuad Siniora attend a roundtable national dialogue launched by Berri, at the parliament building in downtown Beirut 02 March 2006. This is the first meeting of Lebanese parties without Syrian sponsorship since the 1975-1990 civil war and comes 10 months after Damascus withdrew its troops from the country. The meeting will touch on three sensitive topics: the Shiite party Hezbollah-s continued right to bear arms, opposition demands for Lahoud-s resignation and Beirut-s strained ties with Damascus.
