Sir Menzies Campbell (C) is crowned as the new leader of Britain-s smaller opposition Liberal Democrats in London, 02 March 2006. The 64-year-old acting leader beat off the challenge of economics spokesman Chris Huhne (L) and party president Simon Hughes (R) in the race to lead Britain-s third-biggest party. The left-leaning centrist Lib-Dems have a fine line to tread in fighting the centre-left governing Labour Party in some constituencies and the centre-right main opposition Conservatives elsewhere.
