US-ATTACKS-PATRIOT ACT-HASTERT
The hands of Speaker of the US House of Representatives Dennis Hastert, R-IL, are seen behind the USA Patriot Act renewal legislation he is about to sign during ceremonies 08 March, 2006 on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The US House of Representatives on Tuesday gave final approval to a revised version of the sweeping anti-terrorism Patriot Act law passed by Congress after the September 11, 2001 attacks, by a vote of 280 to 138.
