A Sunni Muslim imam, or prayer leader, was killed when a car bomb in Samarra where the Shiite shrine was bombed last month, police said. Meanwhile, a suicide bomber killed seven Iraqis, including a six-year-old girl, when he set off his explosive charge in a van next to a US military convoy in the western town of Fallujah.
