IRAQ-US-SADDAM
A US soldier from the 4-42 Field Artillery Division keeps guard standing next to the "hole" from where Iraqiex-dictator Saddam Hussein was captured by the US forces in Ad Dawr, near his hometown Tikrit, 180kilometers (110 miles) north of the Iraqi captial Baghdad, 21 December 2003. Saddam was captured on 13December 2003 from the same farm where as a young man in 1959 he sought refuge after a botchedassassination attempt on Iraq-s then president Abdul Karim Qassim.
