US-ATTACKS-TRIAL-MOUSSAOUI
This courtroom drawing shows a videotaped deposition by prosecution witness Hussein al-Attas during the death penalty trial of avowed Al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui 21 March 2006 at Federal Court in Alexandria, Virginia. Al-Attas, a Yemeni national studying in Oklahoma who drove the confessed Osama bin Laden acolyte to Minnesota to learn to fly a jumbo jet, said his former friend was obsessed with the plight of Muslim rebels in Chechnya, and thought jihad, or holy war, was the only sure way to reach Paradise.
