SYRIA-POLITICS-ATTAR
A handout picture released by the official Syrian news agency SANA shows former Syrian culture minister Najah Al-Attar taking the oath in front of President Bashar al-Assad after she was named vice-president 23 March 2006 at the presidential palace in Damascus.
