MIDEAST-ISRAEL-VOTE-LABOUR
Supporters of the Israeli Labour party celebrate at the party-s Tel Aviv headquarters 28 March 2006 as the leader of the Likud party Benjamin Netanyahu - seen on screen right- admits his defeat on national TV. The ruling Kadima party narrowly beat its rivals in today-s Israeli election and was on course to secure between 29 and 32 of the 120 seats in the next parliament, television exit polls said. The public television survey also forecast that the centre-left Labour party was on course to win 22 of the seats against 14 for the far-right party Yisrael Beitenu and only 11 for the Likud party of former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
