JAPAN-IRAQ-KOIZUMI
Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi (R) meets Takenori Kanzaki, leader of the LDP-s coalition partner, the New Komeito Party, at the prime minister-s official residence in Tokyo, 20 June 2006. Koizumi announced his plans to withdraw Japanese troops from southern Iraq at a ruling party meeting, Kyodo News agency reported.
