SPAIN-BASQUE-ETA-GRAFFITI
A man walks past a graffiti referring to French judge Laurence Le Vert and Spanish judge Fernando Grande-Marlaska as "fascists", while Spanish judge Garzon-s name is crossed out, 21 June 2006 in the northern Spanish village of Bilbao. Pro-independence armed Basque group ETA announced in a communique, sent to the Basque public TV and radio stations EITB that "to make progress in talks it is essential to call a halt to repressive measures, which have accompanied unsuccesful war strategies over so many years".
