TENNIS-WIMBLEDON-WTA-PAY
Defending Wimbledon tennis women-s champion Venus Williams (front R) and former women-s champion Maria Sharapova (6th R) are joined by Sir Richard Branson and fellow players to demonstrate their support for equal prize money for all female tennis players at Wimbledon, in London, 22 June 2006. The players illustrated the total difference in prize money awarded by Wimbledon (ÂL6,132,770/8,725,173 euros/10,977 USD) to male and female players (singles and doubles) in the last decade.
