The Astana team has been asked to withdraw from the Tour de France cycling race, organisers said two days ago, in the wake of the doping scandal in Spain.The Lausanne-based Court of Arbitration for Sport will rule on whether the Astana team should be excluded from the Tour de France because of its link to a Spanish blood-doping scandal. The team has been under the spotlight since former manager Manolo Saiz was implicated in Spain-s Operation Puerto probe into an alleged blood-doping service run by cycling doctor Eufemiano Fuentes.
