Iraqis wheel a dead Iraqi to the morgue of a local hospital in the restive city of Baquba, 29 June 2006, northeast of Baghdad. The man was shot dead by unknown militants as he was shopping in a market in the center of the city. Iraqi Sunni rebels were seen hardening their conditions to lay down arms as urged by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in his peace plan, a lawmaker said, but a foreign diplomat expressed doubt over the negotiations with the rebels and their identity.
