MACEDONIA-ELECTIONS-SDSM-RALLY
Supporters of Macedonia-s ruling party SDSM wave party and state flags during the last election rally in Kumanovo, 03 July 2006. Macedonia-s President Branko Crvenkovski on Monday called on all political parties to ensure forthcoming elections were "free and fair". Polls on 05 July, in which some 1.7 million voters will cast their ballots for 120 members of parliament, are Macedonia-s fourth general elections since the country gained independence from the former Yugoslav republic in 1991.
