Spain-s Alejandro Valverde (Caisse d-Epargne-Illes Balears/Spa) is being taken care of by Tour de France doctor Gerard Porte after he crashed to the gound while riding in the middle of the peloton and failed to get back on his bike less than 20 km from the 216.5 km third stage of the 93rd Tour de France cycling race between Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) and Valkenburg (The Netherlands), 04 July 2006.
