LEBANON-US-EVACUATION
In this photo released by the US Department of Defense, a woman comforts a small child prior to entering a helicopter on its way to the USS Trenton off the coast of Lebanon 21 July, 2006. The Trenton and other ships of Iwo Jima Expeditionary Strike Group arrived on station as part of Task Force 59. At the request of the US Ambassador to Lebanon and at the direction of the Secretary of Defense, the United States Central Command and elements of Task Force 59 are assisting with the evacuation of US citizens from Lebanon.
