BRITAIN-MCCARTNEY-GUITAR-AUCTION
The first guitar that Paul McCartney ever touched is handled during a press preview in London 26 July 2006. The Rex acoustic guitar is expected to fetch around 100,000 pounds (around 140,000 euros) when it goes under the hammer at Cooper Owen's Music Legends auction at Abbey Road Studios 28 July. The guitar is owned by McCartney's school friend Ian James, who taught McCartney his first chords in his back garden in Liverpool in 1957 when he was 15-year-old. AFP PHOTO ADRIAN DENNIS
