INDONESIA-DISASTER-MEDICINE
This handout picture released 28 July 2006 by aid agency Pharmaciens Sans Frontières (PSF), or Pharmacists Without Borders, shows workers being busy at a storage of medicine donated by various foreign countries as aid for the slew disasters victims of Indonesia, in Banda Aceh. Tonnes of drugs and medical equipment that have poured into Indonesia in the wake of a slew of major disasters are often damaged, out of date and unusable, aid workers said. Some 200 tons of unusable drugs taken from Nias Island, hit by a deadly earthquake in March last year, are to be incinerated 28 July at a cement factory in Bogor.
