DENMARK-ENVIRONMENT-ALGAE
Finn Topp and Mikkel Stenner, employees at the Ecologic Fisheries Research, are remowing algae and seaweed from the Lake Sortedams Søen in central Copenhagen, 28 July 2006. After a long period with warm weather, algae is a growing problem in the city's lakes, but fortunately this years species have turned out to be of a non poisonous type and the lakes are only cleaned up to give a better view of the city for tourists and locals.
