Gibson was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving early morning 28 July, 2006 in Malibu, California, and bail was set at 5,000 USD, according to authorities. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed the actor's arrest on Pacific Coast Highway, failed a breathalyzer test and was booked in the Lost Hills Sheriff's station.
