FILES - A picture taken 08 July 2003 shows jobless people lining up in a job agency in Leipzig, eastern Germany. German unemployment showed a slight decline in July 2006, data from the labour agency showed 01 August 2006, defying expectations of a rise and raising optimism among observers.
