GERMANY-THEATRE-FESTIVAL-NIBELUNGS
Actor Robert Doelle (R) in the role of Siegfried and Jasmin Tabatabai (C) as Kriemhild perform a scene of the Nibelung saga during a rehearsal 09 Augsut 2006 in Worms, western Germany. The play based on pre-Christian Germanic heroic motifs is presented during the traditional annual Nibelung festival, taking place from 11 to 26 August. The Nibelungenlied tells the story of dragon-slayer Siegfried at the court of the Burgundians, and of his wife's revenge, which leads to the death of all the protagonists.
