Long lines at the check-in desks at Schiphol Airport as a result of the terror threat in London 10 August 2006. The desks of British Airways and Easyjet had long lines of customers with their luggage, hoping to change their tickets or obtain extra information about flights to London, as many flights were cancelled. US airlines warned of serious disruption to transatlantic travel Thursday as flights were cancelled and airports thrown into chaos following an alleged plot in Britain to blow up passenger jets.
