A wounded Israeli soldier is taken from a helicopter on arrival at Rambam hospital in Haifa, 12 August 2006. Israeli forces took a key hilltop village overlooking the strategic Litani River Saturday and engaged in fierce fighting with Hezbollah as the army expanded its ground offensive after more than a month of fighting.
