(FILES) This photo taken 09 November 1997 shows former POW and local veterans' rights campaigner Jack Edwards standing in front of Hong Kong's Cenothaph, a monument dedicated to allied soldiers killed in the world wars. Edwards, a British World War II prisoner of war who dedicated his life to tracking down Japanese war criminals and defending the rights of Hong Kong's veterans, has died at the age of 86, 13 August 2006.
