MALAYSIA-INDONESIA-ENVIRONMENT-HAZE
The iconic Petronas Twin Towers are obsured in haze as a monorail train passes by in Kuala Lumpur, 22 August 2006. Peninsular Malaysia was shrouded in haze 22 August as air quality in parts of the country took a dive, environment department data showed. The air pollution index in the capital Kuala Lumpur posted a reading of 77, edging towards the unhealthy range of 101-200, and several other locations were affected including Port Klang on the west coast with a reading of 78.
