NETHERLANDS-CATTLE-MARKET-BLUETONGUE
Cattle traders discuss the blue tongue cattle disease in an almost empty cattle market in Purmerend 22 August 2006. Very few cattle was available becasue of the transportation restrictions. Dutch authorities are investigating two suspected cases of sheep virus, also known as bluetongue, outside the southern Limburg region where 16 farms have now been confirmed to have been hit, the agriculture ministry said 21 August.
