FILES - A picture taken 08 January 2004 shows an aerial view of the Beisheim Centre with the Ritz Carlton hotel (L) in Berlin. Shares in German department store operator KarstadtQuelle were lower on the stock exchange 25 August 2006 after the group suffered a further setback in a long-running dispute over the real estate seized by the Nazis in Berlin in the 1930s. A German newspaper reported that Germany's state asset authority, BARoV, had approved the Jewish Claims Conference's claim for damages for the allegedly misappropriated property which formerly belonged to the Wertheim department store dynasty. KarstadtQuelle sold the property to Otto Beisheim, the founder of retail and distribution giant Metro in 2000 for 145 million euros (186 million dollars). AFP PHOTO DDP/MICHAEL URBAN GERMANY OUT
