FRANCE-MEDIA-INDUSTRY-COMPANY-EARNINGS-VIVENDI
Vivendi's board director Jean-Bernard Levy gives a speech during a press conference to announce the company's first-half results in Paris 07 September 2006. French media group Vivendi Universal reported on today a 48-percent jump in net profit for the first half of 2006, to 1.8 billion euros, and confirmed its forecast of at least 16-percent growth for the full year.
